Life of Mrs. Seton by Rev. Charles Ignatius White, D.D.

Elizabeth Ann Seton (1774-1821) is an important figure in American history. There are numerous schools, hospitals, and churches named in her honor across the U.S. and internationally. She was the first American to be canonized as a saint. Even before her conversion to Catholicism, Seton was religiously observant. She actively served the poor as a member of the Widows' Society in New York.
